The Conversations of Truth and Deceit: A short play: play By J.W.C.

This short play concerns the conversations and circumstances that arise between our two main performers, Mr Deceit and Mr Truth, as they continue to encounter each other over seven chapters of intense conflict, reason, hope, oppression and faith; all with a pinch of humour sprinkled here and there. It is the age-old story of every individual's fight for spiritual freedom within and the external conditions that must be overcome, in order to take further steps towards true peace, retold by our two chief characters in their own way. Deceit is determined to bring about the demise of Truth. Whereas, Truth, is devoted to the liberation of Deceit and only one can succeed in the end. Will it be that slippery, uncharismatic harbinger of manipulation, Mr Deceit, with his left hand firmly steeped in the dark arts of diabolical magic; or will Truth's golden voice triumph over the muffling winds of adversary with his right hand heralding the testimony of God's Holy Word?
