The Cosmonaut Who Died Twice

Leaving behind little Viktor, Galina Agafonov heads for Jupiter on a secret mission; to make first contact with a stranded alien spaceship, and to bring any survivors back to Earth. But something changes when they are close enough to see the craft through the cockpit window. The ancient machine speaks, and a million years slip away. Buried by an avalanche of time, Galina finds herself far from home, surrounded by fantastic technology, yet with no means to return to little Viktor.
