the Day Borders Broke

What if everything you knew was a lie? Autumn has never felt like she belonged. Not only is she the smallest faerie in her village, her underdeveloped wings can barely lift her more than a few inches off the ground, and even simple magic takes extra effort. Her only solace is the forest. Pettie is tired of how the other gnomes treat him. He's an oddball. The runt. A walking reminder of everything they say a gnome can't be. So when he finally climbs out of the tunnels and heads into the forest, he's determined to prove they're wrong about him. That he's more than just his size and stature. That he can be brave. Even if he's shaking in his boots. When fate brings the two of them together, they discover their peoples' biases are built on lies. Because of the deep-rooted hatred between the villages, they keep their meetings secret. But secrets never stay hidden for long.
