This social fiction explores the career of teacher educator Patricia Morgan, as it follows her journey of professional becoming through school, university and school teaching, then onto the doctoral journey which leads to her working in teacher education and academia. This book adopts the arts-based methodology of social fiction to explore the professional becoming of a teacher educator, Patricia Morgan. The aim of the book is to examine and generate new knowledge about how cumulative life and educational experiences shape teacher educators as teachers, doctoral candidates, academics, mentors and colleagues.
