The Drama of Fate and Freewill: Calvinism vs. Arminianism: Solved

Are we free to do as we wish or are we all dancing to a tune that controls us? Is being made in God's image a roadmap to help us understand this? Who is God eternally? How we think of that will guide our conclusions on these questions. What does it mean even to use the word "eternal?" Is the fate versus freewill debate really not solvable? Are the very definitions of the words used in the debate born out of the Enlightenment, Platonism, or certain secular ideas? If these definitions control the framework of the Arminianism versus Calvinism debate, can the reassessing of those definitions provide a different framework in which the tensions can be solved. What steps are we taking in our thinking when we think through this? Do we know the process of our thoughts and how that determines the conclusions we draw? The framework is the problem.
