The Empire of Fallen Moons

Princess Lyra's life changes forever when several mysterious moons fall from the sky, devastating the empire and awakening an ancient army known as the Moonborn. As the capital is sealed and the terrifying Moon Emperor emerges from the crater of a fallen moon, Lyra discovers that her supposedly dead grandfather may have been connected to the moons and that she herself was born beneath a fallen moon rather than the empire's normal moon. Her father, Emperor Cassian, reveals that the Moonborn have been waiting for her birth and that the capital is the only place they cannot enter, but their attack soon breaches the palace, causing Lyra's mysterious silver powers to awaken. As the fallen moons begin rising again and the Moon Emperor calls her to "come home," Lyra realizes that she may be the key to an ancient cosmic conflict threatening the entire empire, setting the stage for her discovery of the truth behind her origins, the fallen moons, and the mysterious power awakening within her.
