This book explores the ethical issues raised by artificial intelligence (AI) at Lukanga Adventist University (UNILUK). The main objective is to analyze how students and teachers perceive the integration of AI into their academic setting, while identifying the opportunities offered and the ethical concerns raised, such as intellectual autonomy, data protection and fairness. The study is based on a quantitative survey of 200 respondents, mainly students (97.5%) familiar with tools such as ChatGPT or DeepL. The data, processed using the structural equation method (PLS-SEM), reveal that the perception of ethical issues is the most decisive factor in the social acceptance of AI. The results also show that, while perceived benefits such as time-saving and personalized learning encourage the adoption of these technologies, users' level of familiarity directly influences their critical and moral judgment. In the end, this work highlights that the appropriation of AI at UNILUK relies more on dynamics.
