Separate chapters examine relations with the USA, Japan, the EFTA countries (Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Liechtenstein), Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, the Mediterranean countries, the Third World (through the Lom Singapore and Thailand) and Australia and New Zealand. This is an analysis of the external relations of the European Community with particular reference to the impact of the completion of its internal market at the end of 1992.
