Gunned down in the name of Allah, Sebastian survives against all odds. In time, he returns to Ireland from Salamanca, scarred and limping, his spirit indomitable. After selling his coastal properties, he establishes an antiques business in Galway, focusing on the material culture of wine. Before you can say kylix backwards, he is dealing not just in antiques, but Greek antiquities sourced from his Good Samaritan friend in Spain, ignorant-willfully or otherwise- of their provenance. As his interactions with the opposite sex devolve into farce, so too does his burgeoning career as an up-market dealer.
