THE FLIGHT THAT NEVER LANDED: An Aviation Thriller

THE FLIGHT THAT NEVER LANDED An Aviation ThrillerBy JAY R. ROBBINFlight 728 was supposed to be an ordinary commercial flight, but at 11:47 p.m., during its final approach, the aircraft disappears from radar without a distress call, without a crash, and without leaving behind a single confirmed piece of wreckage, leaving its 186 passengers and crew officially declared lost while former pilot Ryan Callahan refuses to accept the explanation because his younger sister Maya was aboard and something about the disappearance never made sense. Three years later, Flight 728 transmits again, and the voice requesting landing clearance belongs to Captain Harris Brooks, the pilot declared dead, before Ryan hears Maya's voice through the transmission warning him, "Ryan, don't let them land us." His desperate search for Maya soon uncovers erased surveillance footage, missing telemetry, altered passenger records, impossible radar returns, and a classified government program known as Project AURORA, revealing that Flight 728 was not simply lost but was part of an experiment involving a phenomenon beyond ordinary space and time-and someone knew exactly what would happen before the aircraft ever disappeared. But the deepest secret is hidden inside the passenger manifest: the official records say there were 186, while the original records reveal 187, and Passenger 187 was never supposed to exist. As Ryan follows the trail from the missing seven minutes to the impossible return of Flight 728, he discovers a terrifying truth: the phenomenon has learned human memories, voices, faces, and identities, can recreate the places people call home, can imitate the people they love, and may have discovered a way to use Flight 728 as a doorway into Earth. Now Ryan must decide whether bringing Flight 728 home is truly a rescue-or whether landing the aircraft will allow something else to come through, because Flight 728 never simply disappeared; it was waiting, and when it finally returns, Ryan will discover that the greatest mystery was never where the aircraft went, but who came back.
