the Fruit of Spirit: 100 Prayers to Bear What Only He Can Grow

What if the qualities you most want to see in your life cannot be produced by effort alone? The Fruit of the Spirit is a hundred-prayer devotional rooted in Galatians 5:22-23 - the nine-fold fruit that marks a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. These are not qualities we manufacture by trying harder. They are the fruit of a life connected to the Vine, produced in us by the Holy Spirit as we abide.Structured in ten chapters, beginning with a foundational chapter on being rooted in the Spirit, and then moving through one fruit per chapter, this book leads the reader to pray their way into each fruit - asking the Spirit to produce in them what they cannot produce in themselves, and trusting Him to do exactly that. Each of the hundred prayers is personal, honest, and Scripture-rooted. Each one is designed to be prayed one at a time, returned to across the days and seasons where that particular fruit is most needed. The fruit was never meant to be striven for. It was meant to be grown. These hundred prayers will help you stay connected to the One who grows it.
