The Generation

Roger is being used as bait to break a man out of Hell. He has absolutely no idea. All he knows is that he's obsessed with Greta. Greta embodies everything that Roger hopes to be. She's daring, incisive, uncompromising. She famously drops out of college on her first day, resurfacing months later as the CEO of a powerful energy conglomerate. A little sinister? Absolutely-but that's what it takes to secure the young man's mania, and obsession is exactly what she wants from him. Her mission is to turn Roger into a reckless idealist, an authentic, younger version of the very man she's been tasked to free, and to then somehow bring the two together, face to face, as only that might break the chains that bind him. She starts things off by planting a seed in Roger's mind: she not only claims to extract the very fuel that keeps our world turning, she claims the world is running out of it. And that's all Roger needs to hear to dynamite his life for her.
