The God Who must be Feared

The Fear of the Lord as the Foundation of a Blessed LifeWe live in an age that loves to speak of God's goodness and has grown strangely quiet about His holiness. We sing of grace freely and rarely mention the reverence Scripture says must accompany it. Psalm 34 will not allow that imbalance to stand. In this book, Bishop Osei Tweneboah Koduah walks through David's unbroken movement of thought in Psalm 34:8-11: taste God's goodness, fear His holiness, and teach that fear to the next generation. Drawing on the lives of Abraham, Joseph, Job, the widow of Zarephath, and the words of Christ Himself, this book restores a truth the modern church has too often lost: nearness to God was never meant to lower our reverence for Him. It was meant to deepen it.Each chapter moves from Scripture to a Central Truth, a Key Insight, careful exposition, a real-world illustration, guided reflection questions, and a closing prayer, making this both a serious theological work and a practical tool for personal devotion, discipleship, and small-group study."God's goodness invites us near. God's holiness teaches us how to live once we get there."
