The Good Captain

Long ago, across the shining sea, there was an island filled to the brim with evil. On this island, there lived a little girl named Mary, who, at first, was a wicked child, who thought that being bad was good. However, as she grew, she realized what she was doing was wrong, and longed to escape the island and find forgiveness. One day, a kind and mysterious Captain arrives on the island, offering the residents one thing: an invitation to leave the island and journey to a land of paradise, overflowing with peace, love, and forgiveness.After hearing this, Mary excitedly accepts, and goes on the adventure of a lifetime, filled with wonder, hope, and light. Compared with stories like, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and The Little Prince, The Good Captain is a whimsical, middle-grade, island adventure which teaches children hope, trust, and that, no matter where they came from or what they have done, there can be redemption.
