The Hand that Held Me

The Hand That Held Me is a deeply personal story of love, loss, faith, healing and the quiet presence of Divine grace.Through the joys and struggles of an ordinary life, Vimla Rao shares a journey shaped by family, responsibility, grief, spiritual awakening and service. From the pain of losing loved ones and facing unexpected hardship to moments of profound guidance and inner transformation, she gradually comes to recognise that she was never walking alone. At the heart of this book is a simple but powerful realisation: even when life feels uncertain, painful or beyond our control, there may be a greater presence gently guiding us, strengthening us and leading us towards healing. This is not only a memoir. It is a spiritual reflection on surrender, resilience and the mysterious ways grace can reveal itself through both suffering and love. The Hand That Held Me invites readers to look back upon their own lives and ask: Was there a hand holding me, even when I could not see it?
