This book was published at a time of intense debate over whether the Democratic Republic of the Congo should join OHADA. For our part, we believed that joining OHADA was the right choice for our beloved and beautiful country, the DRC, which for a very long time had not only lacked harmonized laws adapted to the modern business environment but also, and above all, lacked a favorable business climate, characterized by legal uncertainty-a factor that hindered the country's development. Since commercial companies play a significant role in trade and foreign investment, our work has focused on them to highlight the benefits that OHADA's harmonized law brings to the DRC's commercial law, with the aim of underscoring the relevance of the DRC's accession to OHADA. This explains the title of this book: The Impact of OHADA Law on Congolese Commercial Law.
