Bol At a college built on truth, asking questions comes at a cost.Psychology Ph.D. candidate Francine Hale loves teaching more than anything else, but when her university funding dries up, she desperately needs a job. With help from a friend, she lands a teaching position at a small liberal arts college in upper New York, where the dean is championing a new learning technology promising to revolutionize education. Although most faculty adopt it without reservation, Francine has her reasons to question its effectiveness. She investigates what the technology is really doing-and why no one else seems willing to look too closely.Speaking up on what she finds could cost her the career she's worked her entire life to build, but staying silent could cost her students far more.
