the International Dimensions of War in East: Crimes, Silence and Impunity

The impunity enjoyed by those responsible for looting, rape and massive violations of human and peoples' rights, coupled with the failure to formally condemn proven war crimes and crimes against humanity observed during the War in the East of the former Republic of Zaire, undermine and discredit the current international justice system and order. The disorder in current global governance, as well as the desire for justice, freedom and the strengthening of their sovereignty felt and generally shared by the peoples and nations of former Western colonies-who, in many respects, face the persistent cynical and anachronistic view held of them through international injustice that remains evasive and complacent regarding numerous violations of their sovereign rights- and the aggression against their states and/or international law: this is the framework of the present work. In The International Dimensions of the War in the East, the author denounces the silence and procrastination of the international community and the international justice system, as well as the inaction of the ICJ and the ICC, whose conduct borders on a denial of law and justice towards his country and its people.
