"The Kapitalist's Henchman" follows Tendai, a young professional whose spirit is being crushed by the toxic and dehumanising culture of his corporate job in Zimbabwe, under the thumb of his tyrannical boss, Mr. Banga. As Tendai grapples with a devastating heartbreak and a fracturing psyche that manifests as distinct inner personalities, he is thrust into a new role where his actions inadvertently trigger a violent city-wide riot. Forced to confront his own passivity, Tendai must navigate the chaos and make life-or-death decisions. The novel is a psychological exploration of identity, resilience, and the struggle for purpose in a system designed to strip it away, leaving Tendai at a crossroads where he must decide whether to remain a powerless "henchman" or forge his own path.
