The Kingdom of God: and Righteousness

King Jesus Christ spoke about the knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven that he gave only to his disciples and not to the masses. This book reveals a couple of those secrets and readers now know them. The first secret is seeking the Kingdom of God which means to become a citizen of his nation. Citizenship confers rights on individuals that the government is obligated to grant to them upon request. This is monumental. God owns everything in heaven and on earth, and he made covenants to provide all needs of his citizens. If you become a citizen of his nation, then you can ask whatever God promised and he is obligated to give it to you, if you qualify. The second secret deals with qualification for God's promises. The only qualification is righteousness. This means to submit to the authority of God as King and LORD. In other words, obey the laws of his Kingdom. That presents an insurmountable obstacle to all humans. If you ignore or disobey one of the laws of God, you are unrighteous and does not qualify to receive anything from his government. But no human has ever obtained and maintained righteousness by obeying all the laws of God. If you can do it, you do not need Jesus Christ.
