THE LAMB FORTOLD, KING REVEALED: FROM GENESIS to NEHMIEAH Tracing Prophecy, Parables, and Types Their Fulfillment In Christ

SynopsisTHE LAMB FORETOLD, THE KING REVEALED Book One: From Genesis to Nehemiah Tracing Prophecy, Parables, and Types to Their Fulfillment in ChristFrom the opening words of Genesis, the Old Testament begins a story that reaches far beyond Israel, its kings, its prophets, and its history. Beneath its genealogies, laws, sacrifices, battles, promises, and prophecies lies a developing revelation of God's plan to redeem humanity through His promised Messiah. The Lamb Foretold, the King Revealed follows that unfolding revelation from Genesis through Nehemiah, tracing the prophetic threads that run throughout the Old Testament and find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ.Beginning with the promise of the seed who would bruise the serpent's head, the book explores the covenant with Abraham, the offering of Isaac, the Passover lamb, the priesthood, the sacrifices, the tabernacle, the wilderness journey, the judges, the rise of David's kingdom, and the promises of an everlasting King. Along the way, people, events, institutions, symbols, and sacrifices are examined not merely as historical events, but as patterns and types that prepare the way for Christ. The book follows the movement from promise to prophecy, from shadow to substance, and from earthly patterns to their greater fulfillment. The sacrifices point toward a greater Lamb. The priesthood points toward a greater High Priest. The Passover points toward a greater deliverance. The tabernacle points toward God dwelling among His people. The Davidic covenant points toward an everlasting King. The prophets speak of a suffering Servant, a righteous King, a Redeemer, and a coming kingdom.Yet the Old Testament does not reveal Christ through isolated predictions alone. Its message is woven through the entire biblical narrative. The story itself becomes prophetic. From Adam to Abraham, from Moses to David, from Solomon to the prophets, the reader is invited to see how God's purposes progressively unfold while humanity repeatedly demonstrates its need for the One who is to come.Reaching Nehemiah, this first volume closes within a nation restored to its land yet still awaiting the fulfillment of God's greater promises. Jerusalem has been rebuilt, but the story is not complete. The kingdom has not reached its promised fullness. The Messiah has not yet appeared. The stage has been prepared. The Lamb has been foretold. The King has been promised. But He has not yet been revealed. This volume therefore does more than recount Old Testament history. It invites the reader to read Scripture as the apostles and early Christians understood it: as a unified story in which the Law, the Prophets, the sacrifices, the covenants, the promises, and the people themselves point forward to Christ. From Genesis to Nehemiah, the shadow grows clearer. The promise is waiting for its fulfillment.
