A collection of experimental, free verse poetry that cuts through the noise of the world to offer the reader company in the darkness, and a voice to remind them that the light is theirs to see even if they have been told otherwise. Glass shares fragments of a past rife with domestic violence and isolation which is balanced against a present alive with healing and hope. Her poetry is a meditation on queer identity, trauma, loss, and the power of a chosen life in the pursuit of joy-while simultaneously respecting and making space for the presence of grief. Her poem, "a letter to my friend after swimming," as published in Rattle Poetry Magazine, was also selected for presentation at University of Nebraska Kearney's Language and Literature Conference in March of 2024.
