The Light Was Orange: Some Truths don't stay buried

In the isolated coastal town of Oakhaven, endless fog has covered the harbor and sea cliffs for years. The old lighthouse stands abandoned, the townspeople avoid speaking about the past, and warmth itself feels almost forgotten. Sienna's quiet life changes when hidden paintings connected to her late mother begin resurfacing inside an abandoned cottage near the cliffs. Alongside her husband Paul and the gardener Silas, she is drawn into the tragic story of Julian, a gifted artist whose obsession with preserving a mysterious orange light changed Oakhaven forever. As the fog deepens and the island edges closer to collapse, they journey across dangerous tides and forgotten ruins searching for the final traces of Julian's unfinished work. But can light truly return to a place that has lived so long in darkness? And when the sea begins swallowing the last warmth from Oakhaven... will Sienna find the courage to carry it forward before morning disappears forever? The Light Was Orange is a haunting gothic novel about memory, grief, love, and the quiet return of hope.
