Join us in following the story of Jane. She's a professed "city girl" who is given the opportunity to change her life by responding to a job advertisement that, upon further review which she probably should have given it in the first place, is suspiciously vague. The changes come in unexpected ways when she discovers that the "office with a view" is not only a sentient Lighthouse on a seemingly deserted island, but also the launching point for the self-development she's craved. There's a cat, a crow, and a swarthy old sailor of indeterminate origins. A tall, dark, and handsome stranger brings a larger mystery to the island that she finds she must solve to save all their lives, literally. And a little bit of magic. Just a tiny bit.
