The Little Ant Who Carried Too Much

Little Ant is small, hardworking, and used to carrying things. But little by little, the load becomes heavier. Some things need to be carried. Some things can be put down for now. And some things don't have to be carried alone. In The Little Ant Who Carried Too Much, Little Ant begins to notice just how much is being carried and discovers that strength isn't only about how much we can hold. Sometimes strength looks like resting. Sometimes it means recognizing what can wait. And sometimes it means asking someone we trust to help.Told through a gentle animal story created for young readers, this book invites children and the grown-ups reading with them to explore responsibility, overwhelm, rest, boundaries, support, and asking for help.Part of the Little Ant Collection by Isela Arredondo, The Little Ant Who Carried Too Much offers families, educators, counselors, and other caring adults a gentle starting place for conversations about the things children may carry-both the things we can see and the things we cannot.Because even the smallest ant was never meant to carry everything alone.
