The Little Lie That Got Too Big

One tiny lie. One very big problem. Charlie only wants to stay out of trouble after eating the last cupcake meant for his class party. But the moment he says, "It wasn't me," a tiny purple creature appears beside his shoe. Charlie calls him Fib. And every time Charlie tells another lie to protect the first one, Fib grows. Soon Fib is too large for a backpack, too large for a classroom, and almost too large for the whole school. He gobbles words from signs, turns drawings into wild inventions, and leaves enormous question-mark footprints wherever he goes. Charlie tries water, snacks, and even tickling, but nothing can stop the chaos. There is only one thing Charlie has not tried: telling the truth. The Little Lie That Got Too Big is a funny, fast-moving magical adventure about honesty, courage, and making things right. The comedy comes first, while its reassuring message grows naturally from the story. Perfect for read-aloud time, classrooms, and children who love mischievous creatures and big visual surprises.
