Our need for alternative energy in the year 2062 means the Moon is being mined. The problem is that by mining for helium-3, it is somehow tilting the moon off its orbital trajectory. Even more alarming is the fact there are nuclear weapons in silos facing downwards into the moon. The Orbiting Alternative Genesis Space Station and its crew and AIs are getting nervous as calamity unfolds on the Moon.
