The latest work in the Christmas series, this fourth installment follows the story of Joseph, the father of Jesus, from his youth, to his betrothal to Mary, to the birth of Jesus, and through the teenage years of Jesus. This work of fiction, like the others in the Christmas series, has the goal to make Joseph come to life, and to fill in the blanks of many of the unknown aspects of his life in a respectful and Biblically plausible manner. Joseph evolves from a young boy with growing expectations of his life from others due to his position as a direct ancestor of King David. The young adult Joseph is beset with challenges, confronted by grief, but ultimately is greatly blessed by God. An outstanding read for the holiday season.
