Bol Martyr and scholar El-Hadj Ali Mekki is considered one of the martyrs of the glorious Algerian revolution, which claimed the lives of one and a half million martyrs. He studied, may God rest his soul, at the Ouled Cheikh Boudouad (Daoud Eddine) zaouïa (Koranic school), then went to the zaouïa of Sheikh Ben Ali Cherif in Djebel "Chlatha", Akbou, then to that of Sheikh Mohamed Abou-El-kacem (El-Hamel) to study Islamic law (jurisprudence) and theology (Monotheism). He graduated as a jurist specializing in jurisprudence and monotheism, particularly in matters of inheritance and religious obligations, then worked as an employee in the Dar Ouled Sidi cheikh Ben El Nadhir (Bousaada). He also worked as a teacher for a long time and called for the construction of schools, some of which were built with his personal funds. He traveled to many parts of the country and completed the pilgrimage in 1935. During his journey, he met eminent scholars such as Zaïm El-Husseini.influenced by Imam Abdelhamid Ben Badis and his cause
