The Masonic Book Club, Vol. 22A: ABC of Freemasonry: A for Beginners

The purpose of this little book is to place in the hands of each newly made master mason some information to which he is entitled and which may help him to get started correctly in his career as a Freemason. Every effort is made to post a candidate in the several lectures appertaining to the degrees but the moment he signs the by-laws, the lodge seems to forget its obligation and leaves him to secure necessary masonic information the best way he can. It is no wonder that many masons lose their interest in the fraternity which might have been retained had proper instruction been given them. The greatest need of the present masonic period is definite information upon masonic subjects and the relationship which masons bear to the fraternity. It is hoped that this primer will help to furnish the newly made master mason with that information which shall clearly establish him as a member of the craft and assist him in becoming a useful and intelligent Freemason.
