The mobile phone phenomenon

In everyday use, the device plays a key role in maintaining personal relationships. Its taken-for-granted use highlights a growing psychological need to reinforce one's own identity through the pursuit of increased attention. Within the context of flexible and de-standardised lifestyles, there is a discernible increased willingness to disclose and present private and personal matters publicly.
