Bol Partner Tomorrow's Coming is the sole full-length LP by New Jersey band The Modulators, released in 1984. Rooted firmly in the power pop genre, the album showcases bright, chiming guitars, strong melodic hooks, and an energetic, youthful feel that reflects the independent 1980s underground scene. Issued by Vintage Vinyl Records, it has since earned a reputation among collectors as a cult favorite, praised for its catchy songwriting and classic pop sensibility filtered through a slightly raw, garage-influenced sound.Over time, Tomorrow's Coming has been reissued and rediscovered, helping to cement The Modulators’ status as unsung heroes of 1980s power pop. The LP balances exuberant, up-tempo material with more reflective moments, all delivered with tight harmonies and a clean, guitar-driven production style typical of the era. Its enduring appeal lies in the way it captures a specific regional band at its creative peak, offering a snapshot of New Jersey’s vibrant independent music community and standing as a testament to the timeless charm of well-crafted power pop.
