An anonymous tip reopens a decades-old murder-suicide case involving two teens in a remote Washington State town. Class of '96 high school seniors Patty Ambrose and Grady McNeal dream of a future as far away from their cramped little town as Grady's beat-up truck will take them. Thirty years later, an anonymous tip leads the State Patrol to reopen the case. Detectives Derrick Halverson and Olivia Dombrowski learn there's more than meets the eye in the isolated community where Patty and Grady lived their short lives. All their leads point back to two previous cases involving their mothers, Phyllis Gee and Rebecca Smith, revealing a gruesome connection that may have tipped the first domino in a deadly chain of events. They soon discover Patty's murderer may still be alive-and willing to kill again to keep the past buried forever.
