The New Testament EnglishGreek Study Bible: Volume One: Matthew, Mark, and Luke — Synoptic Gospels: Gospels Acts: 1

See the Word of God in its own words. In this Study Bible, every verse of Matthew, Mark, and Luke is set out in three layers: the World English Bible in clear modern English, the Greek of the SBL Greek New Testament in the order the apostles wrote it, and a plain English gloss beneath every Greek word, so you can see exactly which Greek word carries which idea. You do not need to know Greek to use this book. A short primer introduces the alphabet and the habits of the language, and warm, pastoral study helps stand beside the text throughout: an introduction to every book, key Greek word studies for every chapter, devotional reflections with ready-to-use lessons for preaching and teaching, and a full glossary of Greek terms. Written for Bible students, preachers, teachers, and every serious reader who wants to sit a little closer to the inspired text, this volume covers the Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, and Luke; companion volumes complete the set.
