If she refuses, she returns to a formless oblivion. Even when she struggles to communicate or falters under the weight of being perceived, Kit chooses to keep standing. Ultimately, she must learn that her own will is the only thing stronger than the tricky cost of being human. She chooses to learn who she is. She chooses to find peace. She chooses to be Kit.
