The Orchard of Grace: A Handbook for Cultivating Heaven on Earth

There is often more growing around us than we notice. In The Orchard of Grace, Rev. Dr. Tyler Kaufmann invites readers to see generosity through the images of nature Jesus loved: seeds, soil, trees, fruit, vineyards, harvests, and gardens. Across four weeks, familiar biblical stories become windows into a larger vision of grace-one in which our lives are rooted in gifts we did not create and invited to bear fruit for people we may never meet. Through brief daily readings, practical weekly exercises, and small-group conversation, this devotional explores what it means to be rooted in love, grow in grace, bear fruit, and help feed the world with the goodness of heaven on earth. This is a book about formation: learning to recognize what God has already planted, tend what has been entrusted to us, release what keeps life from flourishing, and plant with hope for generations still to come. Whether read alone or alongside a community, The Orchard of Grace offers a simple invitation: become the kind of person who participates in what God is cultivating in the world.
