the over-50s in context of demographic change

An ageing society is set to become a challenge for the whole world. But how can we counteract the megatrend of demographic change? To support the 50+ generation, comprising people aged over 50. In order to train staff appropriately and prepare them for new technologies, the Human Resources department at Siemens Switzerland AG asked itself how the transfer of knowledge regarding IT tools to employees over the age of 50 within their company could be organised. The research question is answered by introducing and explaining the various terms in the literature review. These include the aspects of demographic change, information technology, knowledge transfer and the 50-plus generation. Insights for answering the research question can be gained from these findings. Numerous authors and specialists have already published works on the topics of demographic change and the 50-plus generation. This demonstrates both how pressing the issue is and how great the need for action currently is!
