It is now recognized that art has the power to poeticize certain organic materials that are discarded from everyday life. It is within this opening that I insert my artistic practice, where my body performs fictions based on the humoral secretions that flow from my feminine, mixed-race, and colonized identity. Through rituals without myths, I break old Western taboos. I expose violence towards the body of the other with practices that mark the otherness of every being. At the crossroads of aesthetics, history, politics, psychoanalysis, and ethnography, I ask sensitive questions to create singular bodily works. I offer the humoral subjectivity of the body a cartography of the marginal desire to become a woman in a phallocentric society. This is an ambiguous utopia, because I see in the humoral and residual flesh of the uncastrated body the sensitive territory for the introduction of a new ethics of the body.
