Are you tired of relationships, with its uncertainties, from immature men who only want to play games? Men who don't know what they really want? When a man doesn't know what he really wants, it's because he doesn't know who he really is. Do you ever find yourself in the same old, meaningless relationship over and over again? And even though it is a different person, it is the same relationship! And you keep wondering why this continues to happen. Well, even though it is a different person, it is the same spirit. And it is the broken, unhealed parts of us that keep attracting it!One day, after having a conversation with my best friend about my last relationship and how I had been mishandled, I told her I was tired of the games and of the lies, and I was so tired of putting a crown on a clown and calling him king! I said to her I was so fed up with being taken for granted and kept being taken on ride after pointless ride, being unstable all the time--just like being at a carnival! Well, later that night, while in prayer, God spoke to my spirit and inspired me to write about it. God literally brought back to my remembrance what I said to my best friend earlier that day, and He said, "That is a book, and you need to write it."So being obedient to God, as well as inspired by God, I wrote this book about how we settle in relationships with men who haven't healed because we haven't healed ourselves. That is because neither has done the work to do so. This book is about why this type of relationship is referenced to a carnival--how we are up and down on an emotional roller coaster, how we stay hoping that things will change while knowing that they are playing games. These relationships keep us going round and around on the Ferris wheel of uncertainty or on the swing, going back and forth, and the list goes on and on. Men, you need to tighten up, and women, you need to wake up! Hopefully, this book can offer you the help you need to do so. In writing this book, I was reminded of the Word of God--how Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables to simplify and to enlighten His followers and to give them the wisdom they needed to get through or to overcome whatever problems they would face. I pray that this parable, with God's help, will enlighten you and give you the wisdom you need to help lead you out of the carnival relationship.
