THE PASTOR: Shepherding with Fear and Trembling: Biblical Standards Divine Reckoning

>Drawing deeply from Scripture-passages like 1 Peter 5, James 3:1, Hebrews 13:17, and Philippians 2:12-this compelling work examines the high calling of the pastoral office, where shepherds must lead not with worldly ambition or ease, but with profound reverence and awe before the Chief Shepherd. With unflinching clarity, it outlines God's unchanging standards for elders: faithful teaching, exemplary character, sacrificial care, and vigilant protection against false doctrine and moral failure. Yet it goes further, confronting the reality of divine reckoning-the stricter judgment awaiting teachers of the Word-and urging pastors to shepherd with humility, diligence, and holy fear. Whether you're an aspiring minister, a seasoned pastor facing burnout, or a church leader seeking renewal, this book will challenge you to examine your ministry against eternal truths, equipping you to lead God's people with integrity and prepare confidently for the day of accounting. A vital resource for reclaiming the weight and wonder of pastoral shepherding in the local church.
