The book by candidate of philosophical sciences L.V. Krivitsky is devoted to the ancient and ever-new art of meditation, contains a description of the system of health-improving meditative exercises created by the author on the basis of synthesis of all known religious-meditative systems. The history of classical religious-meditative practices is outlined , on the basis of which the original scientific and philosophical system of meditation is built. In it the meditative process is divided into 16 successive stages, or steps, each of which is the completion of the previous one and the preparation of the next one. The meditative practices outlined in the book are designed to help practitioners improve their body and psyche, overcome illness, improve their health, and gain new creative abilities.
