Bol The Detective: Don Cosme de Alarcón. A retired and meticulous Spanish magistrate, obsessed with clocks and punctuality. He doesn't look for fingerprints, but rather for inconsistencies in the rhythm of alibis. He is courteous, slightly vain about his intellect, and always carries a collection of pocket watches. The setting: Villa Mirasol, an isolated mansion on the cliffs of the Cantabrian coast. A torrential storm has destroyed the only access bridge, leaving the inhabitants cut off.The Victim: Don Rodrigo de Vargas, a rich, tyrannical and blackmailing patriarch, who has gathered his family and close associates to announce a change in his will. There is nothing more deceptive than the appearance of a perfect family gathered under one roof. The pendulum, tireless, continues to swing.
