Bol A P.I.G. is a Presque Isle Guy, Presque Isle Girl, or collectively, the Presque Isle Gang. Twelve year old Becky is orphaned and sent to live with her grandparents who are strangers and very odd. Her Grandpa plays chess with trees and Grandma walks silently like a ghost. Things get really strange when a one-armed boy appears in the forest and gives Becky a magic Dalmatian that can transform into various polka dotted objects like a bike, fishing pole, or umbrella. Buttons (the dog) is Becky's first friend but she soon meets Amanda, Harley, and her cousin Tooburt. They become the second version of the PIGS Club. With the help of the new PIGS and Buttons, Becky attempts to solve a family mystery like what really happened to her father, the true stories of her grandparents' PIG adventures, but mostly, where does a magic dog like Buttons come from?
