Inspired by an article written by a local mom, this book addresses behaviours related to autism and similar types of neurodivergence.The Pine Cone is part of The Woodland Family series, which focuses on tough topics such as adoption, illness, and death. Through language that is appropriate for young children, and with great sensitivity, these underrepresented topics are explored through families of woodland creatures.A portion of the proceeds from each copy sold will be donated to Quickstart Early Intervention for Autism.
