The Platinum Bank: A Kingdom Forged in Coin

For more than two centuries, the Lamarzelle family has ruled over the Platinum Bank, the most powerful financial institution in the Kingdoms of Eckhart. Custodians of immense fortunes, keepers of royal treasuries, and creditors to the Crowns themselves, the Bank mints the realm's currency, finances armies, and shapes the fate of kingdoms. Its wealth and influence inspire admiration as much as envy, and many lords resent owing more to the Lamarzelles than to their own sovereigns. When a single misplaced letter falls into the wrong hands, the lives of several men are changed forever. Unbeknownst to him, Léonard Bucket becomes the key piece in a scheme far greater than himself. Amid conspiracies, betrayals, ambition, and struggles for power, the great families of Eckhart are drawn towards a conflict in which coin may prove deadlier than steel.Fascinated by political intrigue and sweeping medieval sagas, K.F.A. Brun brings The Platinum Bank to life-an original fantasy world where banks, kingdoms, and ambition shape the destinies of men.
