The Poetic Works of Kay Sulimay Brady

This book is a collection of poetry by Kay Sulimay Brady, who put her first poetic verse to paper in 1940 at the age of nineteen. Kay's writing shares her feelings on many subjects that were close to her heart--nature and the seasons, love, memories, patriotism, family, faith, and even a nod to local sports. Her poetry reflects a wide range of emotion--joy, introspection, inspiration, sadness, gratitude, appreciation, and touches of whimsy. Kay reflected these emotions back to the reader as her life played out during almost one hundred years of living.Kay was a student of poetic style, keeping rhyme scheme and meter in mind as she committed her thoughts in ink.
