THE POOPING READERS CLUB: VOLUME 1 - 2026

"This book was written mostly on the toilet. Which explains both the wisdom and the smell." Manny Bacoto did not set out to write a book. He sat down on what he calls the pooping bowl, started scribbling what he called nonsense, and accidentally built a universe. The Pooping Readers Club is that universe - humor essays about marriage, senior life, the Filipino diaspora, politics, faith, and the mystery of why smart fridges give better life advice than most senators. At the center of everything is Emily. His wife. His editor. His Supreme Court. The woman who converts from ambulance to Lamborghini the moment a replacement kettle arrives. Written in Alberta, Canada. Read in bathrooms worldwide. Warning: Humor is not sauce for both the gander and the goose. - Bacman'62, Talespinner"
