The Power of Biblical Confession Agreeing with God's Word Until Christ Is RevealedWhat if biblical confession is far more than speaking positive words? What if its ultimate purpose is not simply to change your circumstances-but to transform you into the image of Jesus Christ? In The Power of Biblical Confession, Doug Stanton takes readers beyond popular teachings that focus primarily on obtaining blessings through words. Instead, he returns to the biblical foundation of confession as the natural overflow of a heart renewed by God's Word and transformed by the Holy Spirit.Drawing from nearly fifty years of pastoral ministry and Bible teaching, Stanton shows how biblical meditation, confession, faith, obedience, and abiding in Christ work together through the finished work of the Cross to accomplish the Father's greatest purpose-to conform believers to the image of His Son.This book will help you discover: - The Father's eternal purpose for your life- How God's Word renews the mind and transforms the heart- Why true confession flows from genuine faith rather than human effort- The relationship between meditation, faith, confession, and obedience- God's covenant promises for healing, restoration, protection, and spiritual growth- How to overcome discouragement, persevere through trials, and finish your race well- How to live in an abiding relationship where Christ is increasingly revealed through your daily lifeWhether you are a new believer or have walked with Christ for many years, this book will challenge you to move beyond merely believing biblical truth-to living it.As your mind is renewed by God's Word and your heart comes into agreement with His promises, your life will increasingly reflect the character, nature, and glory of Jesus Christ. The Father's greatest purpose is not merely to bless us-but to transform us until His Son is revealed in us.
