The practice of stock valuation: Methodology, methods, and specific calculations

An assessment of the market value of the share capital of a specific construction and installation organization has been provided. Based on an analysis of existing approaches and various methods of assessing share capital, an asset-based approach and a method of assessing the intrinsic value of shares based on the value of the company's assets were selected to determine the market value of the share capital of UzSES JSC. To determine the market value and, consequently, assess the investment attractiveness, financial indicators of liquidity, business activity, profitability, and market activity indicators were used. In addition, an express assessment of investment attractiveness was made using Professor Altman's method with the help of the "Summary Indicator R of Financial Activity." The work can be used by students, teachers of economic universities, as well as practitioners of joint-stock companies.
