THE PRICE OF SERPENT

THE PRICE OF THE SERPENT is a gripping African spiritual drama about wealth, temptation, family, and the hidden consequences of getting everything too quickly. Siyabonga Dlamini is a young man who dreams of escaping poverty and becoming somebody people respect. Tired of struggling and watching others succeed, he accepts an opportunity that promises him wealth, power, influence, and a completely different life. But the opportunity comes with a price he does not fully understand. Introduced to a mysterious snake through a traditional healer, Siyabonga makes a decision that changes the course of his life. But behind the wealth is a secret. The snake demands sacrifices. As the years pass, Siyabonga becomes trapped between the life he has built and the price required to maintain it. Friends begin dying. Rumours begin spreading. People notice that something about his success does not feel natural, yet nobody knows the truth. At home, Siyabonga's wife, Amahle, believes she has a successful husband and a secure family. Their son, Lethabo, grows up unaware of the darkness surrounding his father's wealth. But secrets do not remain buried forever. When Zinhle, a woman from Siyabonga's past, finally decides to speak, Amahle begins discovering a truth that threatens everything she believed about her marriage...
